OK, so obviously the quote of the day is goin to be a LAURA thing :o) she is the one with the good quotes. And the whole DAILY thing is not goin to happen LOL.
So, how was everyones weekend? Mine was great. Scrapbooked Friday night, hubby worked some on Saturday, had friends over Saturday night... grilled steaks, had stuffed Salamon and the works to go with it. Then Sunday was a PAINTING day!! My living room is now a beautiful blue. I bought a few awesome decorations off of Ebay... that should be here soon... I have a GORGEOUS Thomas Kincade that my hubby bought me that is goin up tonite. A few other things and my living room will be DONE :o) (only taken me a few yrs to figure out what I wanted to do LOL)
I have MORE flowers too :o) Hubby is getting LOTS of brownie points lately!!! I will post the pics in a little while...

OK, so I have not been mentioning the Rams very much... being that it is only preseason and the Rams have not started off very good.... Well last night they WHOOPED the Washington Redskins 28-3. I did not see the game (I was scrapbooking) but from what I understand it was a great game. But I hope that they keep this up!! I know its only preseason, I know we are taking it easy, but the first 2 games were not very promising. I hope that last night showed good faith to how their 10th year here will be :o)

Good Morning Peeps!!! Hope everyone is doing well, most of you are probably still asleep! Well sis i am completely lost, you never told me exactly what business your hubby is doing so im real confused on that. I did take pics of my weekend and ill share as soon as my sister sends them to me (i used her camera) BOY is she in for a surprise...lol... i told her there were some explicit photos on there! OK time to take kiddos to school, will write more later when my sweety goes to work. Love yall

Life has been GRAND :o) Hubby is great, his business is GREAT, things are really looking up. I am sooo proud of hubby for starting his own business, for sticking to it and for being so good at what he does!! He got a call from someone in TX. They want him to submit a bid for a 1.6 MILLION dollar contract. Its for NASA and is a 2 yr contract. They are only allowing 5 companies to submit bids and my hubbies is one of the 5!!!! We still stay in touch with quite a few ppl in TX and he has a friend that also owns a business ( he used to work for them) and they do not do my hubbies area of work so they suggested to NASA that they contact my hubby and THEY DID and told him he was one of the 5 companies that they have chosen for the bid!! Of course he will not be able to do anything for a few months since NASAs fiscal yr does not start til October so he has some time to work on his proposal... but the FACT THAT HE IS ABLE TO DO IT IS AWESOME!!!! Even if he does not win the proposal he is happy as a clam!! So am I! :o) And actually I would not mind living in TX again :o) I love it there and to move back for a couple of years would be awesome. I do love it here in MO too though... dont get me wrong. It is wonderful to be home :o) Anyways, we are not holding our breath, but the contact was wonderful and I am so very proud of my hubby.
Other than that life is grand, kids are great, family is doing good. My cousin has been recalled to duty. She is goin to Florida. The commander there called her and said that she is being transfered there and that she has been recalled. She seems to be ok with it. Her boyfriend was supposed to get out soon too and they are not goin to release him either. He will stay in Colorado though. Other than that No news is good news.... :o)

I talked to Kris this morning... I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SWEETIE!!!! Get better so we can go to AQUAPORT this weekend!!! :o) All our kids had such a good time they are ready for MORE!! Sooo... that means YOU have to get better!! :o) Love ya, hun!!!

My weekend was spectacular!!!! Saturday was a good bumming day. I got a little bit of scrapbooking done and got to take a great nap. Hubby did some work around the house. Then on Sunday we had our day at the park. I will put up a few pics of the weekend. Leah and her hubby and her niece, nephew and a friend of ours daughter came, and so did Kris, her hubby and her 3 kiddos, and hubby and I and our kiddos all went to Castlewood park. We had a GREAT time. We BBQed and played in the creek, took LOTS of pics, enjoyed each others company and just had a GREAT time. Chelle and her kiddos could not make it... we MISSED YOU CHELLE :o( There was one rather horrifying experience... there were some ladies horse back riding and one of the horses fell and ALMOST landed on top of Kris' 2 yo. my hubby was right there and managed to pull her out of the way just in time... I think Kris has a few more grey hairs and a few years LESS on her life now... but thank GOD no one got hurt!!! The horse did have a gash on his leg...:o( Other than that... our day was uneventful :o)

I am having a blast with this HELLO! thing you can use to upload pics to the blog. :o) And I have had a lot of picture worthy things to post. Hubby came home with MORE flowers last night... He can be so sweet!!! When we got back from our camping trip my roses had died... so he replaced em with this bunch of flowers :o) I cannot think of the last time I did not have some fresh flowers at my kitchen table... I am so special!! Ok... enough of the mushy stuff... :o)

I was informed that today is RED THONG day!!! So, ladies... break out the red thongs and get em on!!!!! Laura and I have accomplished this for the day... everyone else get to it!!! :o) OK, I am back to bed... I still feel yucky!!! Have a great day all!!!

OK, I dunno how many ppl look at playboy... but this months issue had an article and pics in there of body painting.... Yes, I look at playboy, yes I read the articles, and yes I evaluate the fake boobs. OK, now that we are beyond that.... I LOVE this body painting stuff!!!! It is absolutely beautiful!!!! What is better than a beautiful, nekkid body painted to look like they have something sexy on????? It was a cool article and I have to say I would LOVE to do it. (wish my body looked like theirs too, but that aint goin to happen) Oh, well.. thought I would share it will you all :o) You can check out playboy to see other stuff... but I thought this was great so I added it here :o) Have a great day all!!!!

I have added another member to the blog. Its another JEFF :o) But he is ODIE to most of us. HI ODIE AND WELCOME!!!!!!

Our camping trip was AWESOME!!! We had a LOT of fun. I added a pictures link in the side bar. Hubby was picture happy over the weekend. We got down there Friday evening and did set-up and unpacking and then just chilled Friday night. Kids went to sleep pretty early and Hubby and my brother went fishing... they did not catch anything :o) Saturday was a activities filled day. We all went out on the lake. Out on paddle boats and a John boat, cruisin around the lake enjoying the beautiful morning. The kids had a blast on the playgrounds, Hubby took the older 3 and went to one of the ball fields to play baseball and football so I took the youngest to the petting zoo area. Hubbies friend John came up to the Resort and we all went to town to enjoy a good dinner and then got back and played Beach Volleyball for several hours.... that was AWESOME. I LOVE beach volleyball!!! :o) Of course I am paying for it now!!! Then Sunday morning we went horseback riding. Went swimming, played some football and just CHILLED.... (my body is NOT used to such activities) My parents left that evening so we did a little bit of clean up so that they could take some stuff back with them. That evening John came back to the resort and the boys went fishing. Monday was clean up and tear down. We left midday on Monday :o) That was our lovely weekend... We had a WONDERFUL time and plan on doing it again soon.
Other than that life is just grand. I talked to my ex for a little while yesterday. That was a good conversation. It is amazing that him and I broke up over 10 years ago and can still mantain a talking relationship. I guess you could call it a friendship. There are no hard feelings, just a friendship left. Which is awesome :o)
OK, on to other stuff.. Sis, I am sooo happy to hear that you all made it out of the hurricane ok!!! We had a friend goin to college down there that had a tree hit his car... he was here in St.Louis so that was a good thing ;o) And sis... about football... REMEMBER... ITS ALL ABOUT THE RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o) (even without my fav man, Grant) Oh, and do NOT forget to check out the asses!!!!! Some of them have GREAT ASSETS!!!!!!

YaY we made it through hurricane Charley with no real damage here. We did get alot of wind and rain of course. OK i need some help! (please no comments on the "eh" teehee) First off, congrats to Laura (and yes i figured 7 days was a whole week, i'm not that BLONDE), she is doing great on her smoking demon. Almost makes me wanna jump on the *quit the dirty habit* band wagon, we'll see. I used to smoke a pack a day, gross eh? Now I'm down to 2 packs a week, so soon enough cigs should be outta my life forever.

The other team has been based on whoever Eric Lindross was playing for at the time, but I have to ditch that idea, he isnt as hot as he used to be, so I'll think about my other team and get back to ya'll =)

Last night was the first pre-season game for the Rams. I GOT TO GO!!! YEAH ME!!!!! Bev got some tickets in the club level section and invited me to go with her. It was great!! I LOVE football... not really ready for it yet. But, no doubt LOVE the sport. The seats were great, the Rams stunk, and the peewee football players and peewee cheerleaders were AWESOME!!! :o) They performed at half time and I think they were the most entertaining part of the night. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE the Rams... last night was just not up to their standard and I hope that it is NOT a preview of what is to come this season. I know that they played a lot of their 2nd and 3rd string and really we should have won that game... but its just not the way it went. Oh, well... its FOOTBALL SEASON ONCE AGAIN AND I AM VERY EXCITED!!!! :o) GOOOOO RAMS!!!!!!!!!
The Cardinals did lose yesterday... but that is ok... we are still far enough ahead that one loss will not hurt us :o)
I hope everyone has a great weekend...we are off for a weekend of camping!!! :o) To Jen, Laura, Rich and Jeff..... have a great time and MISS ME :o)

Since everyone is getting into the act I suppose I can too. I'm not a nasta player like the rest of you, can't really play cards much at all, but I'll still love ya just the same. I do not keep track of baseball at all, I've never liked that game unless I was actually playing. BUT hockey is going to be starting soon, then I'll be your sports announcer lol. After all, being Canadian does give me an insight to the wonderful world of hockey sticks =)
Nothing much new on my side of the world. Aspen keeping me busy as ever, she has now learnt to roll to her tummy. The days of putting her down and expecting her to be in the same place I put her are over, I think my hubby has some "worm" blood in him that he passed on to Aspen, she wiggles like she knows her wiggles will soon take her to new places. Time sure is flying, before we know it Aspen will be coming into the game room and whomping our butts at a game of canasta... lets pause for a moment....... Ok, maybe not, I refuse to let her anywhere near that place lolol.

I have not talked sports in a while, so I think it is time...The CARDINALS are doin GREAT!!!! They are in FIRST place and NOT goin to give up their spot in the playoffs. Cubs are 12 1/2 games back and the Astros are 18 1/2 back. We picked up Larry Walker last week and he seems to be a great addition to our team. We have an AWESOME outfield and seem to be on a roll. I would love to see the Cards in the World Series. I hope that we make it that far!!!!

As far as the Rams go... its not lookin so hot. Already have a few on the injury list. Lamar Gordon went in for ankle surgery... They are doin their training camp with the Chicago Bears which I think is interesting. Our First Pre-season game is on Thursday against the Bears. Course I am still upset that my fav player is gone... I miss ya Grant Wistrom!!!! :o)
One last note... Brett Hull signed with the Coyotes and will NOT be a Blues player for hislast season... sorry to hear that. It would have been great to have him back in St.Louis for his career finish. He is a great player and I really like him as well. Good luck to you on your last season. I hope that it goes well!!!! OK just an FYI to you all.... Jen and I are Republican... Jen is influenced highly by her hubby :o) Laura... well she AVOIDS politics at all costs... we are lucky she even knows WHO the president is... so do not expect too much outta her for political stuff... and well Rich... He likes to play Devil's Advocate. So I am sure he will argue against just about anything Jen and I post about that has to do with politics. Rich is well informed and I think he just likes to argue. I will let him introduce himself... once he gets some sleep and actually has a chance to blog instead of goin out all the damn time :o)

I think I'm supposed to tell a little bit about myself... I could go on for hours (its all about me). First of all, I AM CANADIAN!! I now live in Va, with my hubby Andy and two children, Tristan who is 4 and the stork just brought us Aspen, who is 3 months old. I just turned 29 (EEK!!) on July 22nd, and I DO NOT plan on turning 30 next year. I've now decided to stay in the 24-29 age group, and will never admit to being a day over 29 =) I met both Bren and Laura in the Snake Pit canasta game room, we are all addicted to both the card game and the daily chat that goes on in that game room. I adore both of them! You know you've been blessed when you have such great friends like Bren and Laura.

OK. I have not been keeping up with my book list... I have managed to get through the whole Janet Evanovich series (10 books in all). I love her books and they are really easy reading. I am now finishing up the Patricia Cornwell series. I am currently reading Blow Fly and her next one comes out in September. This series has been incredible. I love the books and it makes you think. And my hubby bought me a book by Karin Yapalater. It is her first book, called An hour to Kill. I have not gotten to this one yet but will hopefully get to it soon. Ok, I think that is all...

I had a WONDERFUL weekend. Friday night Leah and I went out with Kris and Chelle. Had a GREAT time. Went to the St.Louis Mills mall and wandered around there til it closed and they kicked us out. Then we decided that we were not done with our night and went to Denny's to talk and veg. It was a great night we had a lot of fun and Kris brought the baby so we got to cuddle him. Then Saturday night Deanna called me and asked me to go to the Muny with her. Her hubby was workin and could not go so I went with her. It was the Music Man and was WONDERFUL!!! I LOVE that musical. Leah and her hubby went too. It was a beautiful night, the weather was beautiful, the company was great and the Musical was EXCELLENT. Then Sunday afternoon was Kris's daughters birthday party and that was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast and so did we. I got to meet the infamous mother in law :o) and some of the other family that I had not met before and then that night was the Toby Keith concert... which was also a BLAST!!!! Terri Clark was his special guest and that was awesome. I love her songs. Then of course Toby was incredible!!!! :o) We had center tickets and the seats were pretty good. I will post a few pics. I have pics from the birthday party and also from Toby. I will get those up at some point today.
