OK, I'm finally feeling decent enough to at least say hi to everyone. So HI!! I'll just tell you a bit bout myself. I'm an insurance agent from Michigan who enjoys sports (especially Red Wing hockey and University of Michigan. I'm probalby what you would call a conservative republican, very active in my church (Richland Bible) and a big family man, i have two kids, Heather 22 and Ryan 18, and a lovely wife Pam. Some would say i'm a little wacky (in a good way of course) but I try to enoy life and my friends. Speaking of which I met Brenda a couple years ago on the Crosswalk chat rooms and have enjoyed getting to know her and her family. I try to give her my fatherly advice from time to time, but we all know how stubborn she is (especially how she is deceived about Blues hockey). Anyway, I'm still her friend anyway and if your a friend of hers your a friend of mine. I hope you all have a great Thankgiving holiday don't eat too much food ok. I look forward to getting to know you all, take care. Bon Jour

Last night was awesome. We met my parents at Red Lobster and had a wonderful dinner. I had a crabby 16 month old, but it was because he was really hungry and wanted to eat so that was taken care of as soon as he had some food to munch on. We bought dad a Docker Stain Defender shirt since his other present has not arrived yet, which are the most awesome shirts ever!! My hubby has a couple of them and I LOVE them, especially since my hubby likes to slop food onto his shirt on a regular basis. I also bought one for my Step FIL along with a tie so that means another Christmas present down. AND we bought my brothers present. He picked what he wanted and we got it for him. Spoiled Brat :o) He had his watch stolen at school and has wanted another one so I figured easy to do, let him pick it and then I do not have to worry about it! That completes 2 more presents WHOO HOO!!! I forgot my camera last night so I will not be posting any pics.
I did manage to make a few more cards yesterday (only 30 to go) so sometime soon I will take pics and post them... just do not know when yet, I have to go house sit my mom and dad's while they have their outdoor sewer pipe fixed. So, I am off. Everyone have a great day!!

Friday was our scrapbooking night. I managed to get 2 pages done and a few cards, I have about 40 more cards to make to have my cards ready... I better get busy :o) The pages that I did turned out awesome and took me forever to do. I will take pics and post them on the pics part of my page, and the cards also took me some time and turned out pretty cute too. Hopefully I will have some time in the next few days to get more done, so that I can get them sent out in the first part of December. If only I had more time....
We have most of our Christmas shopping DONE!!!! WHOO HOOO!!!!! We went to Old Navy to get some clothes for us all, and then we went to Toys R Us and managed to finish off our older 2 except for their games to go with the GameBoys. We bought our oldest son a scooter, helmet/knee pads/ elbow pads, a couple of games, the Hulk movie, the Gameboy Advance and accesories, and blanket... our oldest daughter got the Gameboy Adavance and accesories, Barbie with a baby, Cabbage Patch Kid, Disney blanket and a couple of games... our youngest daughter got a Cabbage Patch Kid, magnadoodle, care bear, Leap Frog Cash Register, Care Bear Castle and the Disney blanket. We still have a few things to figure out on what to get her and the our youngest son has been the hardest, we got him a Fisher Price shape bus that is really cool :o), Leapfrog see and learn driver, disney blanket and Thing1 and Thing 2 from the Cat in the Hat. I have NO idea what else to get him.... I even have it all wrapped and ready for the tree (which is not even up yet) We finished my MIL and SIL (scrapboooking stuff for them, they were easy to take care of!), now we have my mom, brother,Step-FIL, nephew and BIL... My brother is going to pick a watch, so that is easy, my step-FIL is going to get a shirt and tie, my BIL is going to get DVD's and I have no idea what kind of thing we are going to get my nephew, but it should not be too hard, I am thinking Super Heroes or GI Joe for him. My mom is going to be the hardest but I am thinking maybe a maincure, pedicure or a massage for her. Then of course there is what I am going to get my hubby, I have NO idea what to get him yet... He is soo hard to shop for!!! I have a little while yet to get his stuff done...
On Sunday I decided to go to church with my mom. It is a Korean church and is rather interesting. They have a translator for those of us that do not speak Korean and the student pastor gave a short sermon, which was pretty good, and then afterwards they had a huge feast of Korean food and Thanksgiving dinner. It was really good. Then we went to the Korean grocery store to buy my grandma her stuff to make Winter Kimchee which is going to be awesome!! :o) My poor husband will never come around me again!! Hubby hates the smell of the stuff and hates the smell on me, so he tends to stay away :o( But the stuff is soo good that I cannot stay away from it :o)
Jeff, is under the weather and will be posting at some point, but has got the crud that is going around and is pretty sick, so he will eventually show himself... you just have to get the old, feeble folk time to heal :o) (just kidding Jeff!!)
Today is my dads birthday so we will celebrate by taking him out to Red Lobster and giving him his birthday/Christmas present. ( an awesome red Farm-all tractor from the Franklin Mint) Then tomorrow is a trip to the hospital for my girlfriends son who is going through his second ear surgery, poor baby has gone through soo much already and has been such a champ about it all!! He was born without his right ear and they are constructing one for him out of his cartilidge and skin. It is what they call a cauliflower ear right now. They did the initial work the first time, this one is going to actually give him an ear, they are going to do a couple more skin graphs and stretch out the cartlidge and put the skin on it and he will then have an ear... Last time he was in the hospital for several days because of how sick the meds made him, so we are expecting a few days this time too. They are hoping he will be home for THanksgiving, but I highly doubt it. He has to be able to hold down food for a certain amount of time before they release him, which makes sense... So, I will be up there tomorrow and probably Wednesday to visit with him.
The Rams managed to pull off another win in overtime, which again is credited to JEFF WILKINS.... You are the SHNITZ WILKINS!!!! He managed to tie the game for us in the last 4 seconds of the game then managed a great field goal in Overtime for the win!!! 49 yards... Impressive WILKINS!!! :o) Of course the refs had some really crappy calls!! There was one against Tinoisamoa for some BS call of excessive cheering, or whatever it is called, which they did a replay and there was nothing there, so that cost us, then there was one for one of our guys putting his arm up to block the sun, I have no idea what the call was called, but oh, well we still managed to win, Bluger did throw 4 interceptions, one of them turning into a 70 yrd touchdown for the Cardinals. There is the fact that we lead the league in turnovers... 32 most in the League, wow... that is something to be proud of :oP BUT, we are in FIRST place in our Division, so that makes me really really happy :o) Next weeks game is here against the Vikings, then the Browns, seahawks, bengals and then finally the Lions. I think that if the guys get focused and not too confident about their game then we should be able to beat the rest of these teams. Minnesota will probably be our biggest competition, Browns should be an easy win, Seahawks will be challenging, Bengals will be pretty challenging and then the Lions should be a gimme for the Rams... Hopefully it all goes our way and we can make it to the playoffs and the Superbowl!!! :o) The Blues are also doing good, we are still in first place, which is awesome :o) We are 12-5 and 1 point ahead of the wings... hopefully we can hold on to our lead and keep doing good!! :o) Oh and of course hubby is extremely happy that the OK SOONERS are still undefeated, and number 1. They beat Texas Tech 56-25.
On to other things... I really did not want to talk about the Michael Jackson thing, but I am going to say SHAME ON THE PARENTS!!!! WHY WOULD YOU LET YOUR CHILD HANG AROUND SOMEONE LIKE HIM???? He had charges against him 10 yrs ago for child molestation!!! SHAME ON YOU for letting your child near that monster!!! I do not care that he is rich, famous and has that Neverland playland... it is the same concept of offering a child candy to get them where you want them, he just did it on a much grander scale.... I think that Michael Jackson needs to be castrated and kept away from all children!! But I also think that the parents should get into trouble, your child is NOT worth the risk!! Just because he is famous and has money does not mean that it is ok to put your child at risk!!! KNOWING that he had those child molestation charges against him 10 yrs ago and managed to settle out of court does not mean that he is an ok person!!! SHAME ON THE PARENTS!!! Shame on Michael Jackson too, you sick, NASTY, horrible person. Shame on him for preying on innocent chidren. He needs to be put away for good! Ok, done with that... just had to get that out of my system...
the VA jury decides that Muhammad needs to be put to death with the DC sniper shootings... glad to hear. Capital punishment is a good thing. OK, I think that I am done for now... I am sure that I will have more to update later on... How was everyone elses weekend??

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY!!!!! Sets stage: I did some laundry, put it in the dryer, dried it, did not get it out, left it in there, just towels NO big deal.... In comes hubby... decides to run his suit through the dryer with a dryel thingy since he had to wear his suit twice this week, no big deal... goes downstairs, takes the towels from the dryer and puts them ON TOP OF THE WASHER, throws in his suit.... goes and gets his suit when it is done... does NOT BRING TOWELS UPSTAIRS... WHY WHY WHY???? Is it so hard to just bring them upstairs since you have to go down there anyway????? He knows I would have folded them, not a big deal and truly it would not kill him to do it, they were towels, the EASIEST of all the laundry..... AARRGGGHHHHH MEN!!!!!! SOMETIMES YOU ARE THE BIGGEST JACKASSES!!!!!!!!! Ok, done now... of course my hubby got the reaming, but it is always fun to rant about it :o)
Update: hubby decided on the gameboy advances..... so now my older 2 will be getting those with a bunch of the accessories and carrying case, now I have to find some games... :o) Gotta LOVE Ebay!!!! So I guess that solves the problem of their big present :o) Now if we can just figure out what to do with the little ones... Oh and I found out that the one thing that I was going to get my littlest has bad reviews, so I crossed that off my list... thank you to the one that shared the info with me!!! I greatly appreciate it!!!
I have to say that I am pretty much sick of Christmas already!! Hubby and I are going to do the kids Christmas gifts this weekend and will just have my brother and mother to shop for and we will be DONE!! We decided to go down to Dallas for Thanksgiving to visit with my IL's and will give our Christmas presents to them while we are there. So that means we will have to get their presents this weekend also. I have ordered 1 thing for each of the kids from Disney. Personalized throw blankets. From there I have hit a wall. My hubby does not want to get the kids toys for Christmas, mind you they are 8,6,3, and 16 months. WHAT do you get a kid other than toys for Christmas?? Underwear and socks??? THat is a kids worst nightmare, and I see clothes as a neccesity, not something that they should get for Christmas!! My oldest did say that he wanted a clock, so I passed that along to my MIL, my oldest daughter wants the Barbie Swan Lake DVD, that I also passed along to my MIL, but what about the 2 little ones?? What else do you get them other than toys??? I understand that my hubby does not want to get toys because they already have a TON of toys, but what else do you do?? If anyone has ANY ideas let me know!!! We have toyed with the idea of Gameboy advances for the older 2 and bikes for the older 2, which would be great, not a big deal, maybe even a little trike for our youngest daughter (fill my garage that is already full with a van and jet ski, instead of the house, gee what a good idea =o) ) Well, luckily it will all be done with this weekend, I hate shopping the day after Thanksgiving, and waiting til the last minute, so it should take a a load of me when it is all said and done. WHOOO HOOO :o) Of course there is still the hubby to shop for, but I still have not figured out what I am going to get him. He is rather hard to shop for since he buys what he wants when he wants. And again I hate to buy clothes since that is a neccesity and not something most people want. But I will come up with something. Maybe some golf clubs and some goober pants :o)
I would like to say welcome to my friend Jeff. He is now a writer on here too. I figured since I am on here bashing the Wings in public I am not giving him a fair shot at the Blues and that is not right... so WELCOME JEFF!!! He is a great friend that I met a few years back and have continuously talked to for several yrs now. Talk away buddy :o)
Since we have decided to go to Dallas for Thanksgiving it should be interesting, it is about a 12-13 hour drive and with 4 kids it will probably take a little longer!! Plus my sister in law and my nephew from Tulsa will be there, and so will my MIL's husbands daughter and hubby from CA.... so we should be packed in like sardines!! We will stay here for Thanksgiving with my family, then get loaded up in the car and head for Dallas, we will probably stop in Tulsa to see some of my hubbies dads side of the family, then get to Dallas sometime in the middle of the night, then have Thanksgiving with them on Friday, then on Saturday have Thanksgiving with one of my MIL's hubbies kids and then come home on Sunday... so we should be nice and FAT by the time we leave Dallas :o) What are YOUR plans for Thanksgiving??

I read the news this morning and saw something on CNN.com that says Classic toys hot again this Christmas... I have issues with the toys being called Classic!!! I played with some of these toys when I was a kid... guess that makes me classic...wwaaahhhhhh!! Oh, well guess I should start accepting that I am getting old! :o) I have to say that I am excited about some of the come backs though. My girls love to play with the My little pony toys and also with the Care bear toys... and I do not think that Hot Wheels or Legos ever went out of style, nor do I think that they ever will! My hubby STILL loves to play with the legos and hot wheels. Of course he claims it to be boy time with our son, but I think that he does it because he enjoys it too!! And of course I LOVE the leapfrog toys... I have to say they are INCREDIBLE!!! My kiddos have the leappad and they love it. It is a lot of fun for them. My youngest has the activity table and has a blast with it and there are many other things that I would love to get the kids that they make... especially the globe (that may go on the Christmas list for the kids this year) .
Then there is the issue of the Gay marriage thing that is going on in Massachusetts. I am sorry but I do not think that they should be able to get married, be together fine, but why should they get to marry? It is not right, not right at all. I do not mind gays, I have friends and family that are gay, but why should they be allowed to get married and have it seen as legal when it is wrong?? If 2 people are together and they love each other and are gay why do they need to see it recognized? What they are doing is not right so just leave it at that... Granted I am not the one that is going to be judging them in the end, but why make a big deal of it? They should not be given marriage licenses in my opinion. I will not go on and on about it, it is not my lifestyle and I have to say that I have a religious view about it... and I know that I am not going to be the judge in the end... it just irks me.....
I do have something else to say... it is going to be a broad statement and not directed at anyone, just one of those things that I have to say .... PEOPLE need to GROW UP!!!! GET OUT OF THE STUPID HIGH SCHOOL BS!!!!!! YOU CANNOT CONTROL another human being so QUIT trying!!!!! If you have a problem take care of it yourself. It sucks that people are always trying to make themselves feel better by putting someone else down. People like that are life suckers, they suck the life out of other people and try and belittle them, granted some people ignore it and just move on, but for others it can be an issue and it sucks that people try and do that to others, especially people that they call their friends... Friends should be treated with respect, love, and trust... PERIOD! If you take this personally then maybe you should evaluate your friendships if not then I just wasted your time :o) So sorry :o) But I had to get it said and it is something that I have wanted to say but have not. I will say again that this is NOT directed at anyone. I just wanted it said. I love all of my friends dearly and have had some of them for over 20 yrs, I consider myself a good friend to others. I am not the most personable person, nor am I the nicest person, but I am who I am and that is how it goes. I am a picky person when it comes to my friends, trust is a major part of friendship and so is RESPECT if you do not have those you do not have a genuine friendship, in my opinion. You should not have to walk on eggshells around someone because you are afraid of hurting their wittle feewings or upseting them, if you are not able to be yourself around someone you are NOT being true to yourself or to your so-called friend. With that said I will step off my soap box.
Oh and dear sweet friend Jeff... my Blues are still in first place AND first in the WHOLE league.... where are your wings?? What are THEY doing??? :o) Gotta LOVE the bitter sweet rivalry that we have. :o) We will not even get into football since that would be unfair... the Lions have sucked for so long that it is not right to go into that one :o) At least we have hockey to fight over :o)
I know this is old news but I am going to say it anyways, I have to say I am very proud of George W Bush for banning partial birth abortion!! Very brave step for a man to step up and do what is right and do what he believes in!!! I am so very proud of him as a president to do what he believes and not not do it because others are against it. The fact that judges banned it minutes after it was signed is horrible!!! I do not agree with abortion, nor do I agree with this way of aborting a BABY.... it sickens me to no end... a baby is a baby, whether it be in the womb or outside the womb... I have 4 beautiful children and would not trade that for the world. I know that there are different reasonings for having abortions and I know that women have made those decisions for themselves and I do not think less of them for it, I DO think less of women who continue to have abortion after abortion as a way of birth control, that is HORRIBLE and should not be allowed at all!! CLOSE your damn legs or use your damn brain and use birth control!!! I was not planning on going on about such a controversial subject.... oh, well :o)
And lastly, I want to add that my prayers are with all the troops in Iraq, God bless you for all that you do and I am praying for you all. I hate the fact that we have lost so many lives, all you guys/gals are awesome and deserve all the respect and well wishes that there are. Thank you to my sweet cousin who will be coming home in a couple of weeks, I cannot wait to see you and cannot wait to take you out to dinner!!!

The weekend was busy as usual. Saturday was a catch up day and a night at mom and dad's for dinner. I requested a FULL Korean meal and I got it :o) My mom did an AWESOME job, as usual. My grandma had made a fresh batch of kimchee for me and my mom made my favorite dish, jaja myun and mondu and dobu (the spelling of it all is questionable)... one word... YUMMY!!! :o) That is exactly what the doctor ordered!! I needed a good home cooked meal from my mom. 3 of my 4 kids also enjoyed the Korean feast, my oldest was the only one who decided that he wanted steak, like my hubby and dad rather than the awesome stuff my mom made. We stayed for a little while after dinner, vegged and watched The In-Laws. Which is a pretty dang funny movie in my opinion. Then we came home, brought my brother with us, and hubby and brother played Socom II and True Crimes: Streets of LA and I managed to get 8 scrapbooking pages done... wow, what party animals we are :o) Then today of course was football day. Rams played the Bears and it was a shitty game yet again. Rams did manage to win, but it was not thanks to our offense. I was actually very surprised that we won. It was a close game, but we played bad both offensively and deffensively. Of course I still love my guys, they just need some work.... hmmm... maybe I should start joining Martz on the practice field!!! Just kidding, I do not pretend to know what the plays are.... just know that I love my Rams and want them to WIN and win by KICKING ASS!!! :o) My Blues are also still winning. We are leading the league with the most wins. Which I think is GRAND!!! We play the Ducks tonight, hopefully we will win that one too and make our lead even better.
I got my tickets for the Blues game on December 4th in the mail the other day.... I am sooo excited!! :o) I love seeing the Redwings play my team. I love my Blues but I have to say that the wings are one heck of a team!!!! They have a lot of my fav players on their team, Shannahan, Hull, and of course CUJO (whom the silly Wings sent to the minors then realized their MISTAKE and brought him back!) Jeff, for your benifit I took a pic of my tickets. :o) I will be thinking of you while I am enjoying the game, and watch as my team KICKS the wings BUTT!!!!
Then I went to a Stampin' Up workshop that a girlfriend was having and did a few cool projects and did a few more of my Christmas cards. I took some pics of the projects if you would like to see them. I have to say that I love to stamp as much as I love to scrapbook. I have some very expensive hobbies that I absolutely adore. :o) Hopefully I will be able to get my Christmas cards done this year and send them out, instead of the store bought ones. I have a few done and think that I have found the one that I am going to repeat make. Ok, I am done rambling for now... I hope that everyone had a great weekend!!!!

Last night we went to my hubbies installation into the Council of Kadosh, a branch of the Scottish Rite that is a big honor, since so few actually get into it. My dad was going out as Commander and my hubby was going in as Sentinel....I have to say that I am proud of my dad and of my hubby.... I will add pics of it to my pics page. My dad was just recently installed into KCCH (Knight Commander of the Court of Honor) which only a few guys get into, I did not take my camera with me that night so when I get pics from my mom I will add them to my pics also. I have to say that my hubby is INCREDIBLY sexy in a Tux :o) The hat is a little on the bellboy side, but that just goes with the territory :o) Luckily it was a nice SHORT installation and it was at the BEAUTIFUL Scottish Rite temple downtown. Of course since I am looking for a pic of it I cannot find one! I am proud of my hubby and hope that he enjoys it as much as my dad did. Congrats to you, sweetie!!!!

I am sitting here watching Dr.Phil (yeah, I just admitted that I watch the show) and I have to say that I am torn with his family that he is helping. A 15 yr old girl gave birth to a baby boy and has decided to keep the baby. Kudos to her. The father left her and started the BS story of he did not know if he was the father.... I have to say that I HATE that statement. I have experienced that stupid comment and I think that it is a COP OUT. Guys, same goes for you as it does for the girl, YOU PLAY YOU PAY!!! Some of you know my background some do not... so I will do a quick summary. I was in High School, 16 yrs old when I got pregnant, was with the guy for over 2 yrs. had my oldest when I was 17. He left me when I was 7 or 8 months pregnant (I do not remember for sure) His mother tried talking me into an abortion and late in the pregnancy to give my baby up for adoption. I obviously did neither one since I have a beautiful, healthy 8 yr old son. Granted my parents were not happy campers and early on in my pregnancy tried convincing me of the same thing his mother tried. I held strong and told them I do not agree with abortion and I would not want to deal with giving a child up for adoption. Both are decisions that someone has to live with for the rest of their lives and I was not willing to do either one. I was willing to take on my responsiblity and take care of it myself. Anyways, my sons sperm donor started denying it was his kid, which pissed me off to no end, how he could say such a thing was unbelievable since he had been the only one I had been with and we were together for 2 yrs... it was stupid and a way for him to make himelf feel better. To this day he has not ever been a part of my sons life. He has seen my son 2 times in 8 yrs. Once when my son was a yr old and then again about 2 yrs ago. My son has NO idea that he has a biological father and I am not sure when I will let him know. My husband has been around my son since he was just a couple of months old and so there has been no reason to tell my son any different.
There has never been any contact with my son and his bio grandparents for the purpose that they are INSANE... his bio grandfather is racist against me, therefore does not accept my son, and his grandmother is very unstable and even went as far as to threaten me when I was in labor, claiming that she was coming up to the hospital to take my baby away from me since I did not do what she wanted me to do... needless to say we had a restraining order against her and of course I do not trust her. My son has seen his bio great grandparents, they are wonderful people and only want the best for my son. They have seen him quite a few times and I am ok with that, my son just thinks that we are visiting friends. My sons bio dad has never paid a dime for a thing. I have no intentions of ever going after him nor do I want anything from him. When the time comes my son will know who his bio dad is and it will be his decision on what to do from there. I will not talk ill of his bio dad but leave it up to my son to figure out what he wants to do....
Ok, that is the gist of the story.... so I am watching Dr.Phil and he is talking about the bio dad and says that it is vitally important for the bio dad to be a part of this child's life.... I have to say that I disagree, UNLESS the dad is completely ready to be a dad I think that it is horrible to try and force something upon an innocent child. I think that it would be horrible for this guy to come into the babies life and then decide that he did not like it and decide to bail. Sucks..ok, I am done for now, I am sure that I will have more to say on the subject but as far as I am concerned he is a sperm donor and nothing more, when he leaves and says that the kid is not his, I believe that he just forfit his options as a dad... easy way out for a guy...

Just when I thought things could get no worse... my son wakes up, decides he wants to eat a hotdog and is fine... then we are sitting there snuggling and what does he decide to do??? He decides to GIVE the HOT DOG BACK.... yeah, he threw up all over me... oh joy... :o( My hubby has a weak stomach and cannot handle it, so not only do I get to CLEAN UP the nasty mess but I have a hubby who is also gagging... LUCKY LUCKY me... (someone take me out back and beat the shit out of me!!!!) Well, son and I have now had another shower and are vegging.... ahhhh... the joys of parenthood... :o)
We have not been able to kick this crud!!! On Monday night my baby boy was pretty bad and we did not get a lot of sleep... a couple of hours at most. Then last night he started his "croupy" cough again and this time I decided I had had enough and called his doctor's exchange and from what the doctor could hear of my baby over the phone he told me to try the humidifier and if that did not work, which he did not think that it would, to take him into the hospital for a treatment. So.. we did the humidifier and then he took a warm shower with me to try and help it out, and finally I decided that I had had it and we took him to the ER to get a treatment. I have to say that Croup is a shitty thing for a kid to have!!! My older 2 never got croup, but my younger 2 do. My parents come over to watch the older 3 and hubby and I took baby boy to the hospital, we arrived around 8:45, we waited for close to 2 hours and finally I was to the point I was pretty ticked off, my son was crying, did not want to be held, did not want to walk around and was crying, well if you have ever experienced croup you know that being upset worsens the condition. So I walk out to the front desk and ask the doctor that was standing there how much longer it was going to take, my son is having issues breathing and I am NOT happy. I know what is wrong with him and want to get him the treatment and be done with it!!! Luckily the doctor standing there heard my son crying and said that he would get him in now and would take care of it... so 2 minutes later he comes and gets us and tells me that he has already talked to the pediatrician and he will be in to see us before he gets to anyone else and take care of him. It was amazing!! The respitory technician comes in and listens to my son's lungs, then as he was finishing the nurse walks in to do his thing and as he was still checking him out the doctor walks in.... how awesome is that??? They already had the nebulizer waiting and was waiting to check him out before deciding which treatment to give him... luckily it was just the steroid treatment and not the epenephrine treatment (which I had no idea about, never seen it done) they got it done and we were out of there by 11:30.... I hate hospitals, I hate going to ER's, I wish that there was a way to give treatments at home, and be done with it.... luckily he took the steroid with just a little fight and was asleep before we even left the hospital and managed to sleep through the night. Of course I did not get as much sleep, being the over-worried mother that I am, he slept with us, I should say ON me, and was breathing MUCH better. He had to sleep sitting in an upright position so it sucked for me, I was watching over him most of the night, making sure that he WAS breathing and now am exhausted!!! Now, if we can just make it through tonight he should be fine, he should get over it with little issues... ahhh... the joys of parenthood :o)
I do have to say that I will love it when I manage to get my bed back :o) I like my sleep and I like my bed without any children in it :o) Ok, I think that I am done complaining :o) I did add a few pics of him sleeping... there is nothing like a sweet baby sleeping :o) Hopefully I will be able to talk about something else soon!!! But for now I have to plan something for dinner!!

I have added a new blog to my list. I was reading Chief Wiggles and he mentioned a guy that is in Korea, I tend to not talk about my heritage. My mom is Korean and I still have a grandfather that is there in Korea. I have been there once, when I was 16. I would LOVE to go back, and will one day. I find his point of view interesting and think that it is really neat. I also found another blog that is in Korea and will also add him to the list. He has quite a few pics... There is no other reason I am adding them other than the fact that they talk about Korea. I hope that you all will take a look at their sites. :o)

Sorry that I have not been around. The kiddos are all sick, hubby and I are also down with the crud. Hubby is better and is taking care of the rest of us, which means I get limited time on the computer since he is home :o) Which is ok, since he makes $$ with his computer time, and I manage to just bitch about things :o) Things have been fairly quiet since we have all been sick. I went over to Tracy's to help Kris out with the party favors for her SIL's wedding yesterday. They turned out awesome!! Kris has a great imagination and if weddings were not such a pain the ass, actually if the people in the wedding were not such a pain she would be a great wedding planner!! We managed to make somewhere around 150 party favors and they are beautiful!! It took us a few hours and we had to change our plans on how they were to look but overall it was fun :o)
Hubby went to the football game last night. Rams won, but it was an AWEFUL game. The final score was Rams 33 and Ravens 22.... only 14 of those points came from the offense. The other points came mainly from our Special teams.... how sad is that???? ESPN was the one that aired it last night and they SUCKED!! I hated it. FOX is MUCH better at airing our games. The first quarter was full of technical difficulties from ESPN and they had Ray Lewis from the Ravens team "wired" so we got to listen to someone that none of us care about moan and groan and hype up his team... wow... how fun.... or NOT! Plus, the commentators from ESPN SUCKED!! Thanks, but go away. Our Rams defense is AWESOME!!!! Gotta LOVE our guys!! Grant Wistrom, Adam Archuleta you guys are awesome!! :o) Oh and we cannot forget Jeff Wilkins who managed to get the ball between the poles FOUR times and some of them from great distances!!! And Welcome back to Adam Archuleta and Marshall Faulk!! OK,enough of that :o)
On Oct 30th I posted an E mail from a friend of mine who Emailed me by mistake... well after I Emailed him and asked him what in the heck he was talking about I got a response today....
O my gosh! I sent you this e-mail!!! I am so sorry! Don't be mad!
My friends e-mail is *****************. O man I'm laughing so hard
right now. Sorry I bet you were like what the F***K is he doing! I love you kido!!
That was his response... I find it interesting how some people talk to someone one way, that you had NO idea about and they talk TOTALLY different to someone else!! I did respond to his Email with.. Now I know the secret of the "guy talk" and know that he is not the sweet innocent guy I originally thought that he was :o) But that is ok... he is a sweetie, and I will keep him for a friend :o) (of course hubby was not so happy with the "love you" part... men, if only they understood friendships the way us women do :o) )
Ok, on to a totally different subject, The other day I heard on the news that a Blackhawk helicopter was shot down... my heart dropped to my feet! Just to clarify, I agree with Bush sending troops over to Iraq, I know that our service men and women are doing the jobs that they signed up to do. I know that a lot of people do not agree with us being over there, but I DO agree and believe that what we are doing we are doing for the good of the Iraqi people and all people. Saddam is a HORRIBLE man and I hope that sometime soon we catch him and kill the SOB. OK, back to what I was originally saying.... I have a friend that is a blackhawk pilot. He has been doing it for a long time and my heart broke when I heard that a blackhawk went down... he is there in Iraq and is a wonderful friend of mine. I tried for a couple of days to get in touch with him and tried to find out who was killed that day... then a couple of days ago I heard from him, he is fine, he is on missions is ok with it. He wants to be there and wants to do what he is doing. He was there for the GUlf War and was in Bosnia when that crap happened.... but I have to say... I hate it. I hate that anyone that I care about is there. Here is his webpage if anyone is interested. He is an awesome friend and I would not trade that for anything... just brings home the truth that our friends, neighbors, loved ones, family are there risking their lives as we go on about our normal life bitching and moaning and groaning about the inconsequential little shit life throws us...
Ok, I am done for now, time to get back to the sick kiddos.... hopefully I will be back tomorrow!!! :o)

Hillary Clinton gets elected President .......and is spending her first night in the White House. The ghost of George Washington appears, and Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Washington says, "Never tell a lie."
"Ouch!" Says Hillary, "I don't know about that."
The next night, the ghost of Thomas Jefferson appears... Hillary says,
"How can I best serve my country?"
Jefferson says, "Listen to the people."
"Ohhh! I really don't want to do that."
On the third night, the ghost of Abe Lincoln appears.... Hillary says,
"How can I best serve my country?"
Lincoln says, "Go to the theater."

I found this and thought that it would be a neat thing to do.... so here goes :o)
Some Questions for Tuesday
1. If you could pick your neighbors (living, dead, real or fictional), who would live to your right, to your left, across from you and below you?I rarely ever talk to my neighbors... But if I had to pick someone...
I think that I would have my parents across the street from me (It would be nice to have them babysit at the drop of a hat :o) ) Plus, I could see them coming from across the street!
On my left... I would love to have my best friend. We talk all the time anyway, so it would be nice to have her closer.
On my right...I would love to have my grandparents. I am very close to them and it would be nice to be able to drop in on them.
and below me... It would be cool to have someone famous that was not a jerk.... so if you hear of someone let me know :o) Maybe even someone political... (Republican of course, maybe Jodie, since he works for Bush...he is an awesome guy and I would love to talk to him about things... )
Yeah, I know boring... but since I rarely ever talk to my neighbors anyways, it would be nice to be surrounded by my family and friends :o)
2. Can you cook? If so what is your speciality?
I like to bake more than anything... I make a great pot of chili (thanks to my dad) I make awesome cookies, cakes, and other sweets. I do not make too many outlandish dishes because my hubby is a picky eater... so I try and keep it simple. I would love to do it though.
3. What is your least favorite sound? The sound of WHINING, bitching and children crying and hurt.
4. Who was your favorite primary teacher, and have you seen him or her recently? Mrs. Coffey, and I have not seen her in a couple of years... last I heard she retired, she had cancer and needed to.
5. White shoes: "Any time of the year", "before Labor Day", "only in a sanatorium", or "what do you mean white shoes?"
I have tennis shoes that are white and wear them whenever I feel like it, other than that I do not wear white shoes in winter. As I have said before, I am not a big shoe person so I really do not care :o)
6. How many hours do you sleep, and how many do you really need? I sleep about 6 hours a night... and I think that I need 12 ;o)
7. Have you ever met Kevin Bacon? No, and no thank you
8. What book is currently on your bedside table?Well, my book travels with me... Right now I am reading Gravity by Tess Gerritsen.... (my last book) time to go back to Barnes and Noble!!!!
9. What kind of dancer are you? Yeah... NOT a good one :o)
10. What's the coolest toy you had as a kid? My Raggedy Ann doll.
11. If your life were a television show, would you be a reality show, sitcom, drama, game show, documentary, mini-series, after-school special or soap opera? My best friend has dubbed me the Drama Queen... so I am thinking drama...
12. A restaurant has a special named after you. How does the menu describe it and how much does it cost?
It would be a great variety of things... I LOVE seafood, so it would be a great seafood combo (lobster, shrimp, crab, scallops etc.) with some pasta for a small side... and it would be expensive.
13. What do you have in your pockets? hmmm.... I do not have any pockets... so I am thinking nothing :o) (that is what you get when you bum around in hubbies boxers!)

Another cute one from Liz....
Subject: The Silent Treatment
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment.
The next week the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight to Chicago.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (AND LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, Please wake me at 5:00 AM."
The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and that he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.
The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests!!
I took my baby girl to the Doctor yesterday. She was running a 103.9 on Sunday night and we managed to bring it down to 102 and so I took her in to see the doctor and found out that she has the first stages of Bronchitis... Oh joy... so, needless to say, I have a sick baby girl who is barely moving. We made up a palet of blankets and her toys in the living room. She has been laying on the living room floor yesterday and today, just laying there... sleeping some, and just laying there... which is NOT her in the least, so she must be feeling REALLY bad if she cannot even get up to terrorize her siblings!! She is on medicine and on Motrin and Tylenol so hopefully she will be back to her old self in a day or two... My poor little baby!!!! Hubby took a couple of pics of her last night while she was sleeping... I added them to the pics. I hope that everyone has a great day!!!!

Never Argue........
A couple goes on vacation to a fishing resort in northern Minnesota.
The husband likes to fish at the crack of dawn. The wife likes to read.
One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and
decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife
decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance,
anchors,
and
continues to read her book.
Along comes a game warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman
and
says, "Good morning Ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking "isn't that obvious?")
"You're in a restricted fishing area," he informs her.
"I'm sorry officer, but I'm not fishing, I'm reading."
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at
any
moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."
"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the
woman.
"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could
start at any moment."
"Have a nice day maam", and he left............
MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also
think.

I added a few pics to my pic area.... A childhood friend of mine sent me pics of him from halloween. I put his up, he is the one in all black. I am assuming that he is the guy from the Matrix ( I never have made it through the movies) He is an awesome person and I thought that the pics were great so I added them to my album... and then there is a pic of each of the kids from Halloween night... it was hard to get them to stand still long enough to get pics of them... so there is only one of each :o) But that is ok... I got 'em!!!
So sorry it has been a while since I have posted... weekends are always hard on me when it comes to posting. Friday night the kids had a blast trick or treating. We had a lot of kids come to the house and the kids got tons of candy!! Between the four of them I think that we are going to have candy around for the next two years!! It was a beautiful night to go out. My parents and brother came over for pizza and to see the kids and they handed out candy so that we could all go. Which is normally a hubby thing and I normally stay behind and hand out the candy... so it was nice to be able to go out with all the kiddos. On Saturday I had to reschedule my massage etc. they put me down for 2:30 and that was not enough time to get everything done so I scheduled it for Sunday. We went up to my parents store and helped them with the banners that they are working on, hubby worked on the computers to get them all secured. There is an awesome scrapbook store up by my parents store so I went there with my mom and bought more paper and stickers (as if I needed it) :o) We did a bit more at the store and then went to Bass Pro Shop so my hubby could drool over stuff and buy a few more things that he wanted. My brother came home with us and the guys went fishing and I scrapbooked for a couple of hours and actually got 10 pages done... which is amazing for me... I normally only get about 6 done in a night... so I was pretty happy :o) Then on Sunday I went to my massage, pedicure and manicure... it was WONDERFUL!!! I LOVED the massage!! It was awesome and the lady did just the right amount of pressure... I did not fall asleep, I think that since it was my first time I wanted to be awake for it all. The manicure was ok, nothing spectacular.... ahh.. but the pedicure... now that was awesome! You sit down in this awesome chair that is super comfy, you put your feet in this spa that is just the right temp, and relax... she did a massage on my feet and then primped my feet. It was really nice. The same lady that did my massage did the pedicure. So I was comfortable talking with her and really enjoyed the whole thing. I told her that I would be sending my hubby to her in a couple of weeks. I think that he would really like the massage. Then I went home all relaxed and greased up from the whole thing! Which was great!!! watched the football game (which SUCKED!!!) That was my weekend.. whoo hooo :o)
