Here are the pics from my daughters birthday party. We had a great time hanging out on her birthday. Then on Saturday my mom and dad took the 3 other kiddos and hubby and I took our birthday girl to Build a bear to make her own animal. She chose a dog that she named Sierra, got a bed, outfit, pjs, shoes, and collar for her. We had a great time hanging out with our daughter one on one.
I have not done a book review lately... so I guess now would be as good a time as any. I go through my spurts of reading and not reading and really I did not have a lot of time to read in Novemeber and December because of the holiday and the other projects I was workin on... so here are the ones I remember that I have read or getting ready to read.
I read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I have to say I REALLY REALLY like him. The book was incredible and was rarely a dull moment. I find the Masonic refrences interesting in the book too.
I also have read Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts. I thought it was OK. I normally pass on the "romance" novels cuz they just dont hold my attention and this is one of them. I normally really like Nora but it was just flat in some areas, and I think the fact that I could care less about flowers and gardening did not help that fact. I dont care what they are called, I dont pay any attention to that sort of stuff. I go buy my flowers, have hubby plant em and am done with the whole situation, I dont care about cross breeding flowers or any other lil fact that has to do with em. Oh, well. Not the best Nora Roberts but was something to read :o)
I am in the process of reading Portrait of a Killer: Jack the Ripper-Case Closed by Patricia Cornwell. I tend to be a little bit slower when it comes to things like this. I am about half way through with the book and while she makes good points about the case, I am not sure that I am completely convinced that Walter Sickert is the one that did it. I am just doubtful that after all these years that we will ever know the true identity of someone so gruesome. But, it has been an intersting read.
Another something that I have been taking my time on is Leonardo daVinci: The Complete Paintings by Frank Zollner. I have an absolute fascanation with his work. I tend to go through spurts when I want to see all his work and research the man. So I am starting a collection of his work in books. Another one I want on him is this called The Complete Paintings and Drawings. It will be a future purchase but something that I really want. I have really enjoyed the one that I have though.
The one I have just started is called The Other Daughter by Linda Gardner I have not gotten far into it, so it will be a while before I write about it. Not sure if it is something I like or not.
I also have The Broker by John Grisham. One that I have not started yet but in the waiting :o)
I have read a few others by Nora Roberts that have been shorts. Nothing really memorable but was something to read by one of my favorite authors.

Larry the cable guy was great. Hubby and I really enjoyed our time out and I am always in awe of the Fox. It has such wonderful architecture and detail it is so cool to just look around. WB was there filming for a possible CMT special. I dunno how to find out if they are goin to use it or not but it would be neat if they did. His opener was some guy named James something or other (I cant rememeber his last name) but he was funny too. Overall it was an awesome night. Larry did quite a bit of new material. It was a very interesting crowd, a lil bit of everything. Rowdy ppl in front of us, lesbians next to me (wow, lucky me, blah) people dressed nice, people dressed in overalls and cowboy hats... Overall it was awesome and hubby and I enjoyed it. And the new parking garage for the Scottish Rite is nice. It was a bitch to get out of, but its nice to have more space for parking. Oh and the best part... the GIT-R-DONE THONGS they have... yes, Larry has thongs you can buy. I got a grey GIT-R-DONE thong... I think that officially makes me a redneck! I am so proud :o)
After the show we met up with our friend John at Denny's, what better way to end a redneck adventure than to go to a redneck place? Had some pancakes and just vegged for a while. Then got the kiddos and went home :o)

4 KIDS FOR SALE!!!! ANY TAKERS??????? Ok, so maybe I dont want to sell em but there are days I would LOVE to get rid of em for a while!!! For some reason they have all decided to pick on one another then tattle tale about it... how nice for me. I generally ignore the arguing, figure it is a way for them all to get used to working out their problems. My 4 year olds way of dealing with things is to SCREAM at the top of her lungs at a blood curdling, break the windows, instant headache type of way. The 2 year olds way of dealing with it is to tackle and beat up whoever ticks him off, the 9 year olds way to deal with it is to be Mr. Mom and boss everyone around and if that does not work then starts yelling, and the 7 year old stomps off and pouts (in true girly fashion) . So, to have 4 different ways of dealing with things is rather interesting. Me? I just lock myself in the bathroom and pretend the world does not exist or run out the door when the hubby gets home. Oh, and whos bright idea was it to get a dog???? Dont get me wrong, I LOVE my baby. She is sooo sweet, but I now have 5 children (not including the hubby)!!!!! She is a doll and is overall pretty good, but once the kids get riled up she gets riled up with them. Chases them and fuels them up even more. *sigh*
Off to make dinner, CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!! :o)

Well, its the official end of the football season for me. *sigh* I was surprised we made it to the playoffs to begin with and am proud of the guys for making it as far as they did with such a shitty season. BUT, whats a girl to do??? I will hope for a better NEXT year and will be even more enthusiastic NEXT yr since we have TWO season tickets for NEXT yr. :o) The game last night was pathetic but I had drank quite a bit and was pretty much in my "yeah, whatever" stage so I was not too dissapointed when we lost. My girlfriend Bev came over, her, hubby and I sat around drinking (only Bev and I drank, hubby does not drink) and played a game called phase 10.
Now for Friday nights scrapbooking adventure. Leah (my best friend) and I go scrapbooking with a girlfriend that is a Creative Memories consultant. Well, we got her sister-in-law (and friend of mine, Deanna) involved in scrapbooking too. So she has been coming with us to our scrapbooking nights. BUT, this last friday she calls and says she had invited a co-worker and friend with her to come, which Leah and I both LIKE and THEN said the one that we LIKE invited another one of their co-workers that we HATE . And then at the last minute the one we like said she could not come. ( We think Deanna is the one that invited her and blamed the other one) So she calls Leah and tells her the news about the one we hate coming and since I was in an oppinonated mood Friday night warned Deanna that if she showed up with the one we hate that it would not be pretty. The lady has ISSUES and I have NEVER hid my feelings for this individual and Deanna knows it! She is a backstabbing bitch that wants Deannas life, including her husband and kids and she is backstabbing enough to try and go for it. There have also been many other lil issues that makes me dislike her even more. Well, neither one of them showed up. So it will be interesting to see how Deanna handles us after this little episode. I refuse to have my scrapbooking nights ruined by some bitch that has leached herself to Deanna. Deanna needs to grow a backbone and tell the C*NT to get the F*ck outta her life. *deep breath* Our night turned out just fine and we enjoyed ourselves without them. Sucks that Deanna did not come, but she knew what would happen if she ever invited the bitch. ( I have warned her in the past that I would not be able to hold my tongue when it comes to her) I guess Deanna could stand up to me too, but I do not see that happening either. Oh, well life marches on...

On to HAPPIER things, this is to Jen, thank you so very much for the Valentine card and coupons... I have cut out ALL the coupons from my newspaper and will be SENDING them to you. INCLUDING the DEPENDS coupons *evil grin* THOSE you can strap on Andy!!!! ha ha ha ha, plz tell Andrew the terrible I said "hi hun, how is that white jacket workin out for you?" :o) Oh and an FYI, Kel gets next weeks coupons, she has already put dibs on 'em. So you 2 coupon NAZI's can fight over the coupons!!!! :o) Ok, so that is the extent of my life, kids, friends that are obssessed with coupons, and sports and friends with no backbones. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!! I will decide who I root for in the Superbowl once it gets here.

Me in a 2005 Mustang GT Posted by Hello

Here was my ULTIMATE Anniversary present... a 2005 Mustang GT, can life get any better???? Ok, so it could. It is not mine but our friend Linette's. :o) This was her Christmas present from her hubby. Hubby and I had a WONDERFUL time out. We dropped the kids off to my mom and bummed around for a couple of hours and then had a GREAT dinner at Annie Gunns. We were even put in front of the fireplace so that made it that more romantic. Hubby had a strip steak that was out of this world and I had grilled shrimp that was awesome. Then after dinner we met up with John, Van, Mike and Jessica at O'Learys for drinks and karaoking. John was pretty drunk by the time we got there. I had my first Yager bomb ( and 2nd one) while we were there. I have to say it hit, HARD :o) It has Yagermeister and Red Bull in it, something you slam. For someone that does not drink often it hit me pretty good. Not near good enough to get me to Karaoke, which I do not believe there is enough alchohol in the WORLD to get me to karaoke :o) We had a wonderful time talking and hanging out. It was absolutely AWESOME to wake up to a QUIET house. We went to breakfast then out to Scott and Linettes to talk with them then went shopping. It was so great to just bum around just me and the hubby. Mom, dad and my brother came over for New Years eve and we all rang in the new year together.
This year has had its definite ups and downs. It started off very rocky as far as our job went, then got much better with hubby starting his own company and now working with an awesome company with awesome ppl. We added a member to our family, Sierra, our baby Jack Russell terrier. Some other highlights would be our settling into St.Louis and really enjoying being here, enjoying our PSL to the Rams, which will be added to next yr. We will have 2 PSL's for next yr so that will be AWESOME. Our children are wonderful and we love and adore each of them for their different spirits. Having my grandparents still with us, which I was NOT expecting by any means. Bush getting elected for another 4 yrs :o) WHOOHOOOO!!!! Then the downfalls would be the loss of my best friends baby, the loss of another friend of mine since childhood, and the loss of my hubbies granny that I love and adore.
I hope that everyone had a great year and I hope that the new year will bring prosperity, good health, happiness and most of all LOVE.
I hope that everyone has an incredible
