I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. Ours started on Friday and did not end til last night. We really enjoyed our weekend. Friday hubby did a few things that he needed to do and went to my parents store to help out with a computer problem. My brother went with us out to Scott and Lynettes and we waited for the caterer to get there to start off the company get together. There were a bunch of people flying in on Friday so we had to get them all picked up. Bandanas catered the food we had on Friday. We stayed out there had a great time playing and visiting with everyone.
And a little side note... Hubby and I have been talking about me getting my belly button pierced for some time now... well, I finally did it. I have told him I would do it and he did not believe that I would... so we stopped by a place and got my belly button pierced and I have to say it is soooo cute!!! I LOVE IT! :o) OK, now back to our weekend....
Then on Saturday we took my 2 younger kiddos to my mom and went back out to Scott and Lynettes to get Ryan and Heather and the older 2 kiddos went with Mark and Michelle and their 2 kids to the City Museum. Ryan and Heather are getting into the wines like I am and they are lucky since they live in CA to get to go to all the wineries out there. So coming here and going with us was a completely different experience since they do things differently here. We made it to 4 wineries and a micro brewery. Luckily my hubby is sweet and does all the driving since he does not drink. We had to pick up the younger 2 kiddos since my mom was going out so we went and got them. Heather broke her sandal at the brewery so we had to stop and buy shoes too. Oh,DARN. :o) Then we went back to Scott and Lynettes for some more partying, drinking and visiting. Scott and Lynette have 4 acres of land so the kids did a lot of running around and playing. We played baseball, football, threw the frisbee around and wore the kids out, oh and us too.
On Sunday we went out there for their meeting that morning, went to have pizza for lunch and then just stayed there and visited some more. By 5 a lot of us were drinking and have a great time. Lynette and I both enjoy the Jim Beam Black and coke. So her and I were drinkin that, Scott was drinkin pina coladas, Ryan started in with the Black and coke and so did Heather. Kathy was also drinking but I am not sure what she was having. So we had a pretty happy crowd by the end of the night. There are a few that do not drink, including my hubby and Lynette's hubby Scott, so they were having a great time making fun of Lynette and I. I will post some pics as soon as I get a chance.
Monday we stayed home and did laundry, hubby, dad and my brother did the yard. We went to the cemetary to see Grandpa and then went to my grandparents to be with Grandma for a while. She loves our new puppy so of course we had to bring him with us. My parents were there and so was my aunt and her husband. We all went out to dinner and stayed with her for a while. That pretty much sums up our weekend. I will leave out my bitching parts of the weekend :o) I had a few, but overall had a wonderful time. I will also try and get up a few pics of the weekend. There were a lot of pics so it will take a while to go through and pick and choose.

** Ok, I got the pics uploaded, HERE is the link to those pics.

BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!

Ok, done with that now :o) I hate when my husband is out of town and hate it even worse that he is on the trip that I am supposed to be on! But from what he said the weather is dreary and he is working so much he would not have been able to do much with me and the guys are coming back early. So, I will just have to wait when I can do it on my own time schedule and when my hubby can do it with me.
Hubby and I got all our shopping done on Friday night. I had to get Michelle's baby shower present and some other things that I needed for the shower. Saturday was NAtional Scrapbook Day but I decided to stay home with hubby and kids since he left early Sunday morning. The only time I got out was to go to my grandparents. I took my grandma to see my grandpa. It was the first time my grandma had been to see him since his funeral. They got his headstone up much earlier than they said they were going to be able to do. It was a really heartbreaking thing for me. I am close to my grandma and to see her hurting the way she was really hurt. I also took our new little puppy with us and grandma fell in love with him. She has only seen one Great Dane in her life and was really excited to see him. After we got back from seeing grandpa her and I sat and talked for a while. Titan just laid in her arms and enjoyed her. He cuddled with her the whole time we were there. It was a special time to spend with my grandma but heartbreaking for me at the same time.
The rest of my Saturday was spent cleaning, doing laundry and helping my hubby get ready for his trip. Then Sunday before the freakin sun was up we were all getting hubby to the airport. The rest of my Sunday consisted of getting the kids ready, getting baby shower stuff ready and heading out to my aunts house spending some time with them, then decorating for the baby shower. Michelle was not supposed to come home and ended up leaving the bridal shower she was at and coming home. So of course when she got there and my parents, my kids and i were there she was suspicious. We talked for a little while then we snuck out and went to the restraunt we were having the party at. The shower turned out beautifully and she got a LOT of stuff she wanted. She was somewhat surprised, not completely but was surprised enough. She had a great time and really enjoyed it. Then after the shower my brother, the kids and I picked up Titan and took him over to see my grandma for a little while. My parents kept my oldest overnight and for the day on Monday. My older daughter will spend the night with my parents tonite and my hubby gets home early tomorrow.
Friday hubbys work is having a BBQ for the whole company, a lot of the company is flying in from all over the country. We are going out there for the BBQ and party. Then on Saturday we are going to wine country with a few of the guys from work while the rest of the people from out of town go to the Arch and tour Saint Louis. Sunday we will get together again and that is about the extent of our plans for the upcoming weekend.
A year ago my best friends baby passed away. So this is going to be a really hard weekend for her. The kids last day of school is today, so I expect it to get pretty busy around here with all the kids that will be around. But it will be nice to get the kids out of the house and out of my hair. OK, off to get stuff done! Have a great day all and a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!!!

Well, we had an excellent weekend. Friday night Kelly, Jeff, Jerry, my dad, my hubby, myself, and Christy got together at a bar close to the house. We danced, drank, karaoked, drank, ate, drank, drank, had a lot of fun and oh yeah, drank... and I think we have a successful setup. It was awesome to hang out with everyone and just let loose for a while.
Then on Saturday Kris got to my house around 11:30 and her and I went to the mall, shopped, had lunch, which was awesome, I finally found fried asparagus again!! It was something I found in Houston and LOVE!!! Then we went to get a manicure and pedicure, which was AWESOME, to be pampered and girlified for 2 hours is the best, then we went to dinner and then went to see MONSTER-IN-LAW. I am not a Jane Fonda fan, I think she is a psycho bitch, BUT, she plays a psycho bitch in the movie and I have to say she played the part perfectly. J.Lo was awesome and the guy is HOT HOT HOT!!! Then I finally made it home about 10 that night. So we really did have a girls day and it was the best.
Then Sunday, we went to get our new addition to the family... We got a great dane puppy. He is all black and absolutely beautiful. I named him Titan. Then after getting the puppy we went to my parents for dinner and that was the extent of my weekend.

I have a new fav drink. Jim Beam Black with diet coke... :o) It is an absolutely awesome drink. I posted a pic of the bottle in the flickr thing. If you have not tried the drink I highly recommend it!
Our weekend was good. Friday night we had the birthday party for our oldest son. He had a sleepover with some of his friends. The boys were not rowdy at all so that was nice. They played outside then came in and watched a movie and fell asleep. Saturday was a clean up day and that night we went over to some friends house. That is where I was introduced to Jim Beam Black and Coke. We grilled steaks and just sat around and talked til midnight. It was a great, relaxing evening. They are the friends of ours that have the Great Danes so it was fun to play with the dogs and enjoy ADULT time. Then Sunday was wonderful for the most part. Hubby took me to get the flowers I wanted for my Mothers Day from him and the kids. I got a bunch of Gerber Daisies to plant and a bunch of other things, along with a few Hosta plants. Hubby made me an awesome lunch of Crab legs, scallops and shrimp. Then we went to my grandparents to spend Mothers Day with my grandma. The whole family ended up there. Turns out it was my aunt that I do not likes husbands birthday. So it was a combined birthday party for him. Not that I participated in any way. :o) ( I can be such a Bitch) We came home and watched Phantom of the Opera, which was another of my presents and that was my wonderful Mothers Day.
This weekend should be a good one too. We have the blind date that is set up for Friday night, we are meeting at a bar close to us, its going to be hubby and I, Kelly and her hubby, her hubbies best friend, the lady we are setting him up with and some friends of hers. So Friday night should be great :o) Saturday I am going out with a girlfriend for lunch and a pedicure and whatever else we can squeeze into our time together and Sunday we are going to go look at a puppy that we may end up getting. Yes, I know, stupid, but its one my hubby wants so it may turn into an early Fathers Day present.

I completely forgot to post about my oldests birthday.. Yeah, this is a few days late, BUT, better late than never!!! HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY TO MY OLDEST BABY!!! I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!
We had a small family birthday with just us. Hubby got home Friday night instead of Saturday. Friday night was a blast. I had plans to go out before my hubby got home so I decided to stick with my plans. It was pushed off a little bit but no biggie. I took my neighbor, Kelly with me to a Pampered Chef party at Alesia's. We were an hour late to the party since I had to get my hubby but it was no biggie. We get there and my best friend comes out and WARNS me that Alesia's pastor is there... Ok, cool, no biggie, I will watch my language and be a GOOD girl. Kelly and I walk in and Alesia comes up to me in front of all these people I do not know... and announces ME as her SEX INSTRUCTOR!!!! I turned about 10 shades of red, had it been all women, had the PASTOR NOT been there I would have been FINE with it. But whatever... we had a great time, Rum punch was the drink of the night, we ate, bought shit, and then after it was all done we played the game Cranium. There were 6 of us that played the game and we had a BLAST. Get 6 women together, half that were drunk and it makes for a GREAT time.
We even managed to set up a blind date with one of the ladies that is recently divorced and Kelly's hubbies best friend ... so we are all going to go out on a date to intro the 2 of them. It should be interesting. There will be 4 couples all together. Just going to meet for some drinks.
Then on my oldest babies birthday we just had a small party with just us and hubby made spaghetti from scratch (well almost scratch the noodles were not) and we got a birthday cake and just celebrated at home. We let the kids pick the place that they want to eat out at and he chose Cracker Barrell so we went there for breakfast on Sunday morning then we spent the day at Botanical Gardens. I have not been there in years so it was great to go back and see it all over again. The kids had a blast and I have to brag on my hubby, he is an EXCELLENT photographer. HERE is the link to those pics. We had a wonderful time with the kids and they really enjoyed all the beautiful flowers and feeding the koi fish. That sums up our weekend. This Friday we are having our sons birthday party/sleepover... now THAT should be interesting... 4 other boys in my house, wonder how much stuff will be broken...Then something for Mothers day, so far that has not been set but I am sure we will figure something out. Michelle comes home for good on that day, her baby shower is planned and set.
