I have a new fav drink. Jim Beam Black with diet coke... :o) It is an absolutely awesome drink. I posted a pic of the bottle in the flickr thing. If you have not tried the drink I highly recommend it!
Our weekend was good. Friday night we had the birthday party for our oldest son. He had a sleepover with some of his friends. The boys were not rowdy at all so that was nice. They played outside then came in and watched a movie and fell asleep. Saturday was a clean up day and that night we went over to some friends house. That is where I was introduced to Jim Beam Black and Coke. We grilled steaks and just sat around and talked til midnight. It was a great, relaxing evening. They are the friends of ours that have the Great Danes so it was fun to play with the dogs and enjoy ADULT time. Then Sunday was wonderful for the most part. Hubby took me to get the flowers I wanted for my Mothers Day from him and the kids. I got a bunch of Gerber Daisies to plant and a bunch of other things, along with a few Hosta plants. Hubby made me an awesome lunch of Crab legs, scallops and shrimp. Then we went to my grandparents to spend Mothers Day with my grandma. The whole family ended up there. Turns out it was my aunt that I do not likes husbands birthday. So it was a combined birthday party for him. Not that I participated in any way. :o) ( I can be such a Bitch) We came home and watched Phantom of the Opera, which was another of my presents and that was my wonderful Mothers Day.
This weekend should be a good one too. We have the blind date that is set up for Friday night, we are meeting at a bar close to us, its going to be hubby and I, Kelly and her hubby, her hubbies best friend, the lady we are setting him up with and some friends of hers. So Friday night should be great :o) Saturday I am going out with a girlfriend for lunch and a pedicure and whatever else we can squeeze into our time together and Sunday we are going to go look at a puppy that we may end up getting. Yes, I know, stupid, but its one my hubby wants so it may turn into an early Fathers Day present.
