I just finished reading Harlan Cobens new book The Innocent and it was GREAT! I love the way he writes and can get through one of his books in just a couple of days. I normally get his books the day they came out but had totally forgotten about it since I have not been reading lately. So my sweet hubby came home with it for me. Have I mentioned I have a wonderful hubby? :o)
I finally went scrapbooking Fridy night. The first time in more than 2 months. Which is really unusual for me, but since my grandpa died and I did that album of him for my grandma I have not really wanted to do anything so I forced myself not to avoid it and go. I had a good time. It was nice to be with my friends again. Great to sit with my best friend and just chat and do our favorite hobby together. Deanna was a little outspoken Friday, which was awesome. She even made me blush, which is not an easy thing to do... Lets just say she LOVES what she got from the Pure Romance Party that we went to and took my advice on what to get. I also enjoyed seeing Darla who I love to talk with and hear all the gossip on where she works since I know so many of them. Her and my hubby worked together and we have all built an awesome friendship. Then there was everyone else I enjoy seeing on our Scrapbookin nights. I worked on my moms album and managed to get 6 pages done.
We did do not do too much Saturday, our a/c went out so we called to get it fixed and the earliest they had was 8 on Sunday morning so we went to my parents house to stay cool and have dinner with them. We stayed the night there and hubby came back to the house in the morning so the repair guy could fix the a/c. It took him about 30 minutes to fix it and be on his way. We stayed at my parents house and watched The Aviator with my dad and had lunch with him. That was the extent of our weekend. Did laundry, cleaned house and that is it.
Next weekend should be great. Kelly and I are going to her aunts cabin with a bunch of ladies and having a GIRLS weekend. We leave early Saturday morning and will get back Sunday. Going out on the boat, drinking, going swimming, drinking, eating, drinking, have a good time, drinking... Yup that is all we plan on doing :o) So our hubbies will have control of our children for the weekend, it should be great fun for them too!
Ok, off to do more laundry and cleaning!
