I have to say that things are going well... Last night Leah and I went walking, we both did quite a bit of stretching and grumbling but we managed to get through our walk. Plus, the time together to just hang out and talk is awesome. It is a great way to get me going. We had talked about a friend of ours from high school and I decided to give her a call and ended up going over to her place to talk. It was really awesome to catch up with her. She was the wild one of the bunch, she was the one that loved the Gothic stuff and got into drugs. I think that is what drew us apart from her... some of us had to grow up and others stayed where they were. Anyways, we got to talking about EVERYTHING last night and it is great to see that she has grown up and has learned from her mistakes. Not that I did not make mistakes, cause God knows I have made plenty of them. We just sat and talked and talked. It was wonderful to see her, I ended up staying at her home til after midnight and was stunned that the time flew by like it did. We decided that we all needed to get together again and talk. Leah had also grown away from her and is ready to talk to her again too. So I think that we will plan a girl's day and go to lunch or just hang out at her house. Amazing the way things work out!! I have defienetely enjoyed getting back in touch with some of my friends from school.
Other things are going good too. My Bible study is going awesome and I am loving the fact that I am getting back into it. I have decided on a one year Bible that I have and also a Mothers Devotional Bible. I figure, if I am going to have my children going to their Bible study that I should be doing it too and I am loving it!! :o) Plus, they are memorizing Bible verses and I am learning them also since we do it together. It is really cool to see my kids learn the verses and remember them week after week. Next is to find a church home... but we are making progress, so that is a positive thing!! :o)
