So a lot has happened since I have last posted. LIKE THE CARDINALS WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!! WHOO HOOO CARDS!!! It was an incredible series and I am so very proud of the Cards!!
Friday night was my brothers last football game. Their season ended 5-5. They lost their last 3 games, yet it was the best season the school has ever had. So that is a high note! I really enjoyed going to all of his games and will miss them!!! Now we have track to look forward to since one of his coaches has talked him into doing that. That does not start til March so we will have some time off before the chaos starts again. Our daughters are full swing into their Girl Scouts and really enjoying it. Our oldest will be joining Boy Scouts sometime soon and we still have Basketball for our older daughter that has yet to start. So we will have a lot going on, just no more football :o(.
Our family moved my grandma into Hospice House a little over a week ago. It has been a heartbreaking thing for me. I really believe that the only reason she agreed to go was for my family and is not what she wants. The place is really nice and is very homey, yet is NOT home. Since she has been there she has lost more weight and is going downhill a lot faster. She now stays in bed all the time and only gets up to go to the bathroom and has to have a lot of help in doing so. I am sure it will not be long before we lose her... and it really breaks my heart.
My older daughter is still having headaches every day and has started having sharp pains in her left temple. We have decided that it is time to get another opinion and this time we are going to take her to the Mayo clinic. I want something done and I do not want her headaches masked anymore and with this new pain she is having I want it done NOW. We are getting her medical records sent to the Mayo so that we can get her in ASAP. She has lived with these headaches for the last 7 months and has yet to have a day that she does not have one. To me, that is ridiculous and I want answers, not meds that are going to mask her headaches!! Hopefully we will get answers soon.
As far as election day goes, thank God it is finally over!!!! I am so sick of seeing the stupid campaign ads I could puke! I am a Republican at heart, even though I was raised in a strictly Democratic home. But reading up on the parties and candidates has me really as a Republican. There truly are pros and cons to both sides, I just see it as which is the lesser of 2 evils and I have to go with Republicans.
I am sure there are a million other things to talk about... but for now I am off to clean house and start planning dinner!
