Who in their right mind takes 8 kids to Grant's Farm and McDonald's for a FUN day??? Kelly and I. Yes, Kelly and I and my brother ventured out of our houses for a fun filled day at Grant's Farm and McDonalds. I had 5 kids with me since my son took a friend with him. Luckily all my kids were 3 and up. Kelly on the other hand had 3 kids all under the age of 3. Yes, it made for great times and a little wild at times. We really did have a wonderful time and the kids were very good considering there were so many of them. The train ride was lots of fun, the feeding of the goats was great, and the feeding of the camels was excellent. There were a lot of summer camps there so it was pretty crowded but the kids did not seem to notice. Then we decided on a McDonalds with a playplace so that the kids could wear themselves out. They did very good there too. It went surprisingly well considering there were so many kids. No bumps, bruises, cuts to be had by anyone! I call that a successful day! :o)
Our next destination... Six Flags. That will be my older 2 and Kelly and her older one. So, it should not be bad at all. Hopefully we will do that sometime next week. I really do not think the younger 2 of mine would get much out of it, plus all that walking would drive the nuts and waiting in lines so they will get to spend a fun filled day with grandma!
